Humidity and Painting in Wilderness

Biological Growth

Algae, lichen and biological growth on exterior walls grows faster in Wilderness than in any other South African residential area. Apply concentrated fungicidal solution to all exterior surfaces and allow the full recommended dwell time - never reduce or skip this step. High-pressure wash. Repeat the fungicidal treatment on particularly shaded south-facing walls. Premium anti-fungal exterior paint dramatically extends the interval before regrowth.
